The short answer
Contact the installer promptly and describe when the symptom occurs. Wind noise can result from a molding, clip, cowl, gap, glass-position or part-fit issue. Water may enter through the windshield bond, but it can also travel from a roof seam, sunroof drain, cowl, body joint or pre-existing corrosion. A sound or drip location inside the cabin does not always identify the exterior entry point.
Document the date, speed, weather, wash conditions and exact interior location, and take photos or video if practical. Do not apply silicone, butyl, tape or another household sealant. AGRSS specifies that a leak within a polyurethane retention system should be sealed only with compatible polyurethane and excludes silicone and butyl for that repair. An incompatible product can conceal the path and interfere with correction. If glass is loose, visibility is affected, or water is reaching electrical or safety components, limit vehicle use until the condition is professionally assessed.
